Đặc biệt hơn, qua hơn 3 thập kỷ với nhiều chuyển biến, ngành hàng hải Việt Nam đã ghi nhận một Công ty niêm yết duy nhất sở hữu chuỗi cảng dọc chiều dài Bắc – Trung – Nam, đặc biệt siêu Cảng nước sâu Gemalink, nằm trong số 19 thương cảng trên thế giới có thể đón nhận siêu tàu Megaship.

The name Gemadept is associated with a period of national history when the country began its renewal, in the 1990s.
