My Thuan 2 Bridge is in the sprint construction phase, the investor and contractor are urgently completing the remaining items. Mid-October will meet the bridge, completing the project by the end of 2023.
On October 6, Mr. Trinh Truong Hai, Executive Director of the My Thuan 2 bridge project (Project Management Board 7), said that the My Thuan 2 bridge will be completed in mid-October. The project has a total length of more than 6 km, of which the main bridge is about 1.9 km long, designed with 6 lanes, speed of 80 km/h.
The project started construction in February 2020, with a total investment capital of about 5,000 billion VND. According to Project Management Board 7, up to now, the project has reached more than 93% of the contract value.
Of the five construction and installation packages, up to now, four have been basically completed. As for the main package of construction of the pier body from T14-T17, the structure on the main span of the cable-stayed span… is currently more than 85% completed.
With urgent progress, the contractor deployed three construction phases with dozens of workers fiercely constructing the remaining items.
